My best friend lost her son suddenly a few weeks ago. I have been a close friend of the family for 12 years. They have 2 other sons who they are also trying to support through this process.
My friend is finding it difficult to mange herself and the boys, as well as her husband. He is coping by burying himself in work and keeping busy. She is finding it hard to support him, as expected, he can take a lot out on her and fees she doesn’t need to care about him.
Can anyone offer any advice on what she can do to look after herself, the boys, and him? Or any experiences that I can share with her to provide her with comfort.
