Suppressing grief.

My 17 year old granddaughter was killed three days ago in a car accident. She was hit by a drunk driver. My brain is refusing to accept this information. I haven’t even cried yet. It feels like there is a ton of emotions inside me but my brain won’t let me feel them. I’m just angry, impatient and very anxious. I don’t know what to do. Thank you.

@CndWal17 all you can do is go with the flow. Grief is different for everyone, and if you cry/don’t cry that’s fine. Your grief will come out as and when your body and emotions are ready. You’re probably still in shock. X
