I am deep down in the swamp.
Still awake in the early hours.
I hate this swamp.
Hopefully I will get some sleep and find I have somehow risen and found myself
on the bank of the swamp.

I am throwing in a couple of ropes and pool noodles. The others will be along later. I will ask Ron to come and help as soon as he has taken his Lily Savage gear off.
Come on, climb out of the swamp, we can all drain it together before Sunday sucks us all back in.
It will play havoc with my Dolly’s if I keep diving in.
It is Saturday, my daughter is at home. I have promised her that we will make chocolate cake. My kitchen will resemble the swamp soon, and my daughter will look like a swamp monster. There will be a chocolate icing tsunami heading your way.

Well, I guess we all need a hobby. Is that the extent of your ambition?
My ambition is to get out of the swamp once and for all, and take some of my new friends with me. The Grief Swamp is formed from tears (and unfortunately some snotty tears, cos we are real, not tv actors).
I have tried crying, begging, bargaining. Nothing happened. I give in. He’s still dead.
I tried laughing and looking for some sunshine. He is still dead.
But I feel a hell of a lot better, and more able to cope with the lousy hand of cards that I have been dealt.
It’s all any of us can do. Like Kenny Rogers said, you have to know when to hold ‘em and when to fold ‘em.
So, we all got dealt a joker. Come on my friends, find your Poker Face.

Now all I can see is Dolly Parton with deflated boobs on the back of a Harley, with Dolly Drag riding upfront trying to cross their legs over the handle bars

I admire your fortitude. I don’t do cold water. I am going to be covered in warm chocolate icing very soon, it isn’t a choice, it is an inevitable result of cooking with my daughter. I am still trying to get the bolognese sauce off my new white top.

You know after the last few days I expected to be back up to my neck in the swamp and I am not,I may have slipped back a bit but not seriously,the Flue man’s just arrived to clean and service the flue before the first burn so ime getting the vac out.

Haha, my nickname is Waynetta as I manage yo get so much crap down my clothes on a daily basis.
My Mum also called me Messy Mabel.
Cooking with her was my favourite thing to do! Have fun with your daughter - I can recommend a chocolate moustache and a french accent just for funsies 
In the shower this morning I looked in the mirror and my beard is as white as Santa clause so ime off out to buy some just for men.
That’s no way to speak to a group of widowed ladies, Ron.

Good morning Willow one of Rays sayings was you can only play with the cards you are dealt so make it a good game, the swamp doesn’t have a firm grip on me today and I feel even better after reading the banter between you and Ron. It is blowing a hoolie here this morning but I will have to brave it and take the dogs out. Hope you have a good day.
