Hello - my much loved Mum, Sylvia O’Donnell, passed away on Friday Aug 2nd very peacefully.
Mum was born in 1936 and attended Wallingford Grammar school, as well as primary school in South Stoke.
I found a photo taken in 1998 of Mum with her old friends from WGS titled: ‘1950 Leavers’. I did a google search for some of the names and spotted 1 or 2 on this site. I thought it might be a nice way to let Mum’s friends know of her recent passing.
We (her 3 children) are looking to hold a Service in North Stoke, Oxfordshire where Mum was at her happiest in life, as a child. In amongst her belongings were lots of pictures and Xmas cards from her old friends from her Schooldays so I know she’d like them to know of her situation and to bid them all a fond farewell. Does anyone remember Mum? Do feel free to get in touch if you do
