Tell us once service isn’t what it’s cracked up to be.
So far, six council tax bills, ranging from
I owe them thousands.
They owe me a few pounds.
We are all square.
Do I still live here?
Council tax currenty is as it was when he was alive, with no single person occupancy reduction.
Passport Office said return passport for destruction, but no address to return it to. When I asked for address I was booked in for a telephone appointment with an immigration officer.
Civil Service Pension Dept. Don’t ask.
HMRC, my new penpals, they send a new tax code weekly. How I will miss them when they stop writing to me.
Still, at least I have new friends that keep in touch regularly.
I have bought a new jet washer to deter the postman.

I completed the tell us once two weeks ago
So not possible to say if it is good or otherwise, but like most things I expect there will be issues, nothing is simple these days.
It should be though as when suffering a massive loss in your life the last thing you knee is some clown telling you that you need to do this and that.
Personally I can not face it and put in a drawer until I feel I can even think about it, which may be never.
I don’t see there should be problems once you have registered the death they know the person is no longer with us so why the ask for passport and driving licence to be sent back in nor sure possibly just best to cut or shred to prevent identity theft which will only cause you major issues if it happens.
Also not sure why they recommend 6 copies of death certs only ever been asked for 1 and they just wanted a copy.
I will update this post when I really know if tell us once really works.

Dont bother with the Death Notification service for banks either… they’ll just send you info for someone else or use the wrong name!
