The day you passed away

A poem to share with you all. xx

If I only had five minutes, the day you passed away
I’d hold on to you with real tight hugs, I wouldn’t want you to go.
I would tell you that I’ll miss you, more than you’ll ever know.

Now God has called upon you, it’s time to get your wings
To leave this life behind you and enjoy all Heavens beautiful things.
So wait for me in Heaven, don’t let me come alone.
The day the angels come for me, please be there to bring me home.

Dear Sad2

Beautiful poem. I pray everynight asking that my husband wait for me and be there to greet me.

Dear Sheila

The reality is that we will grieve forever. We will not get over the loss of our loved ones, we just have to learn to live with it. We will heal and try to rebuild ourselves around the loss we have suffered. We will be whole again but we will never be the same.

“You can love someone so much, but you can never love someone as much as you can miss them.”

Dear Sad2

So true. Feelings of disbelief swept over me again today. Made mistake of going to shop - got nothing I needed and now cannot find some of what I bought.

Oh bless you. I have just been shopping to the local Co-op for the first time in a year! Daunting doesn’t begin to cover it! I asked the girl on the checkout how it was goIng for her and she told me she gets loads of abuse from customers when things aren’t in stock. They also moan about distancing. What are some people like? I felt so sorry for her.
