The feelings of grief on a day to day basis is hard

They dont tell you in life how to deal with loss. Since my dad passed in june my sleep is so bad. And some days im ok then others are so bad. Even more so having bad depression too. Also trying to keep everyone else ok can be hard too.

I am just over a year into that grief journey and I promise you it’s still very hard but it does get easier!

Well done on joining this community, ‘talking’ really does help.

From bitter experience I have learnt that you have to look after yourself first in these situations- self care, sleep hygiene, eating properly and fresh air & exercise are all probably at the bottom of your list of things to do at the moment but they need to be at the Top!

Speak with your GP about the depression and your sleep if you haven’t already,
It was one of the best things I did.
