I am struggling with losing my son. Although it was 7 years ago it is still so raw

Beverley, I feel for you, I can’t imagine the pain of losing a son and grief doesn’t have a time limit on it. We think we should be ok after X number of years or just time but grief doesn’t know any of it.
You could think of counselling, even if you have had some in the past, that wouldn’t count now and it may help. Both Cruse and Sue Ryder offer free sessions if you think it would help. Please don’t struggle alone, many posts on here have lost a son and reading some of them may help. I wish I could give you hug and tell you are not alone instead I will send them and blessings to ease the pain. Take care S xx

I know how you feel I lost my terminally ill daughter in 2019 she was 2 years old and I have been hurting ever since if you need to chat I’m here
