I am trying to obtain my husband’s health files since March this year to forward a claim for travel insurance. For any reason, it looks like they do not want to give me the files or they lost them. And I am tired to get stupid answers as we call you this afternoon, it is just to be dealt with, etc. I really do not need this kind of problem on top of dealing with my grief. Am I the only one who has problems with getting their loved health files released?

@Annaessex sorry you are having trouble getting your husbands medical files. I haven’t experienced this but I did have a nightmare getting my GP practice to issue the death certificate. Like you I got panned off with excuse after excuse and obvious lies. Admin is clearly beyond them.

I had to pick up my husband’s death certificate from the registrar at Basildon Library. We do not need more difficulties in our life fighting with company pensions, surgeries etc. It is just awful.
