Well I managed to somehow get through the Celebration of Life Service for my late husband
Was lucky to have family support but felt overwhelmed after and had to go straight home
Try to keep busy but we had been together for 55 years and although he suffered from dementia and I had seen him slip away over the years when the end actually came it devastating
Like feels so empty now - music and my cat do help but finding it hard to accept that I’m now a widow and will never see him again

My beloved husband passed away aged 57, just 4-months after a cancer diagnosis. I guess any age they go is awful. So sad. I know what you mean about music. I’m thinking of getting a dog.

Hello. My wife recently passed away almost exactly four months after a cancer diagnosis. I know how hard it is, and i know words don’t mean alot from a stranger, but please know you are not alone in your grief.

My partner died of womb cancer a month ago 45 years together it so hard the loneliness every day is a struggle
I feel the same way We were married 47 years. Now it’s just my dog and me. I miss my husband
