I honestly wonder what we pay for these days. We seem to do everything ourselves for companies.
I noticed in my spam today a form from YotiSign, never heard of them and I was going to ignore it but asked my SIL about it, he said it’s not a scam and it’s a form required to be filled in for the Estate Agents. I have no idea what half the questions mean, but after looking up and finding out what these questions meant, I got to the signature bit. I printed my name but it said on the next box to sign it. It wouldn’t let me, when I pressed it my name was spelt wrongly and I can’t sign it.
There is a box asking about shared equity. What percentage do I own. I don’t have shared equity so it doesn’t apply to me but they won’t let me finish the form. It won’t even let me put N/A
I have given up, if he wants me to fill a form that doesn’t work, he can come to my house and fill it in himself. Vent over. Maybe it should have just stayed in my spam.
So sorry Dave i know how you feel sometimes everything seems worse when we are tired. Went to my sister in laws today her and husband were laughing and joking planning their weekend and when i left i got in the car and sobbed because it should have been Chris and i then i got home to my empty house and i felt so lonely i wish it got easier but the truth is we all have bad days they will pass and hopefully in time there will be better days i know it’s hard to imagine now but one day we have to believe it will get easier sending hugs x
Lizzy honestly I come across things like this all the time. I tried to fill in a contact form for my pension company but when I submitted it it errored each time. Had to ring them up. I was going to subscribe to SAGE for my son’s account but it kept glitching so I gave up and went elsewhere. Play the old person card. When my fail was asked if he had access to the internet he used to say he had only just learnt to use a phone.
Fail should be FIL, no edit again
Dave my husband had open heart surgery just 7 weeks earlier and was recovering so well. I thought the tough time was behind us we were so optimistic for the future and then pneumonia and sepsis. I still don’t understand how that could kill him in 24 hours. It’s not fair but that won’t bring them back.
I know I push myself hard at times, but we often did things separately or with our own friends. I really know that we can’t all do that, for a number of reasons, but I’d go, yes, as I know Mary would want me to still enjoy our music. As I mentioned, I’ve already booked a gig for just me, later in the year. She loved the Illegal Eagles but she didn’t really have a favourite band so there would be a few, including Status Quo (seen many times here and abroad) and Cat Stevens, only seen once, but then she also loved Culture Club who we also only saw live once in Bournemouth, staying in Lillie Langtree’s cottage for two nights in 2018. She’d be cross with me this year as they are on locally but we would have been travelling to France on that date!
a very tearful day for me too Dave. Hoping for a better tomorrow for all of us.
that is not nice 24 hrs wow so sorry for that, my wife was in and out of hospital from march last year at least 4 times .and each they said you need this fistulal . never came .and 1 dr said your kidneys are 20% .and he said 20 is plenty. the said they do it couple of weeks .never did .xxx
Barbarap, The Beast got his yearly physical, his shots, a year of heart worm meds, his nails trimmed and samples of blood and fecal matter to be tested.
$611.00.
He is snoozing, those shots make them feel bad for a bit I think.
He is in great shape, good eyes, teeth, ears, etc. I discussed dog food with my vet, specifically grain-free. He said absolutely no grain-free food. Vets are seeing an alarming rate of heart diseases in very young dogs (2yo) who have been on a grain-free diet. There have been no studies on this, but it is a real world issue. He said it is a marketing ploy for people who eschew grains themselves. So . . . will be tossing this crap and getting the other.

My goodness your vets are even more expensive than ours vet said i need to clean Raffy’s teeth as he has plaque bur he just won’t let me he clamps his teeth together and refuses to open his mouth he has liver flavoured toothpaste what more does he want
I know it is discouraged by many pet owners, but buy some giant in-bone ribs for Raffy. He will love the raw meat and chew on the raw bones outside for ages. It cleans the teeth pretty well. Also those green dental treats - “greenies” here. Work well. There is also a liquid that you spread on the teeth to soften the plaque so that it will come off. No need to sedate the fella for a professional cleaning if you can help it. Right?
Love
Yes, vets are expensive! I don’t know how those with multiple pets can afford them.

Debsie Great idea, I will try that. My eyes are not good today. I do not need glasses for reading but I couldn’t seem to read some of the form, it’s so small, I need to get the infection in my eye sorted, that’s not helping. I have sold many many houses in the past and I’ve never had to do this. What the heck is a flying freehold???
I was FaceTiming my lovely friend in Ireland today, I taught her how to use an iPad, she struggles, won’t attempt mobile banking, still goes to the bank to get cash. She is lucky she still has a bank, we have to travel miles to get to one. She would not cope at all filling forms in online. My daughter said just click in the box and sign it, yes that would be simple if it let me. I had to sign a form for the conveyancing lawyer when I was in Turkey but my daughter filled it in and I signed that one no bother, I couldn’t see to do it on my phone. I can’t see much out the left eye tonight.
I got excited tonight, one of my friends sent me details of a 1 bedroom flat for sale, I read the home report and the maintenance was £200+ a month and the council tax is two levels above mine. It was smaller than the other one I viewed, same village but different location. I will give that one a miss.
Think I will go to bed, I’ve got a busy day tomorrow, photo shoot finally happening.
Night everyone xxx
Lizzy A flying freehold is where one part of one house overhangs part of another house. For example there may be a walkway between two houses and above that there maybe part of another property.
Flying freehold refers to a situation in property law where:
-
A part of one property is built over or under another property.
-
There is no legal ownership connection between the two properties.
-
[Common examples include a room above a shared passageway or a balcony extending over a neighbouring property. ]
Night Lizzy - sleep well. xxxx
Another example Lizzy. The yellow painted part is one property and the white painted part is another property.
Autocorrect - autobiographical not auto biological!!!
Thank you Nigel, I now know what a flying freehold is and I don’t have that. I think I’m a freehold only. I’ve never ever heard of that before. You learn something new every day. Xxx
I used to be a Building Society manager for many many years, so came across this sometimes. My Aunt in Harleston, Norfolk bought an old bank and that had a flying freehold. She didn’t even realise until I mentioned it!
Ooo yes I did know about this.
I looked at a property about 20 years ago with a flying freehold.
A post office linked to the next door house and underneath the bedrooms of the house up for sale.
Crazy!
But of course I would always defer to our building society manager!!! Superior knowledge!
