Hi,
I have Come to this group as I am really struggling with the loss of my dad.
For context, my dad and I were best friends. He had 6 children but I was the only was who was there through and through for all these years.
I found my dad 2 days ago and he had very suddenly passed away.
I am so lost without him. I’m struggling to come to terms with it and I’m so sad he will never meet my children, have our dance at my wedding or walk me down the aisle.
I’m not sure how to cope or what to do without him but I feel like I’m losing it.
How is it real that I’ll never talk to him or see him again?
I never got to say goodbye.
Any advice I would appreciate.

Hi, I have just come across your post and although I don’t have any advice I just wanted to reach out and say I understand how you are feeling I lost my dad just over a week ago and am really struggling too. x

Thank you for your lovely message and I hope you’re managing to also stumble your way through this dreadful time.
My brain can’t comprehend or understand it at the moment and I don’t know if I ever will tbh.
It’s hard and tiring to do anything at the moment
