It’s good to hear that laws are to be changed. All relationships should be protected from the greed out there. I am appalled at some of the things that I have heard, especially the emotional blackmail. No way should greedy uncaring relatives be allowed to come out of the woodwork and make claims when they are not entitled to anything. It really does annoy me. What has happened to trust.
I know it’s a different matter but when I was divorcing my previous husband he was telling the most amazing ‘porkies’ about me and the relationship. I was told by solicitor that he could say what he wanted whether it was true or not.
