My wife’s funeral this Wednesday, I was not sure if going to see her at the funeral home would be right for me to do, going by other posts it would seem to be beneficial.
I am glad I went Karen looked peaceful and almost as if she was asleep, I left a letter to her in the coffin, I can now remember her more or less as she was and although I got through a lot of crying and tissues. The funeral will be at the crematorium, Karen’s ashes will be back home with me, when she was in hospital she rung me the day after getting her terminal diagnosis in tears saying that she would never see home again.
