Waiting in the Light

When you wake up tomorrow and grief takes your breath away
Know that I watch over you and walk with you each day.
Though unseen, I stay close by we’re never far apart
The love we shared gives testament to all that’s in your heart.
I see the way you struggle now to hold your head up high
I’m proud of you because I know how very hard you try.
I wish that I could hold you close and ease the pain you feel
I want so much to talk to you and promise that you’ll heal.
One day you will see me again once more within your sight
I’ll be right here to walk with you, I’m waiting in the light.

Hugs from Heaven

When you feel a gentle breeze caress you when you sigh
It’s a hug sent from Heaven from a loved one way up high
If a soft and tender raindrop lands upon your nose
They’ve added a small kiss as fragile as a rose
If a song you hear fills you with a feeling of sweet love
It’s a hug sent from Heaven from someone special up above
If you awaken in the morning to bluebird’s chirping song
It’s music sent from Heaven to cheer you all day long
If tiny little snowflakes land upon your face
It’s a hug sent from Heaven trimmed with Angel lace
So keep the joy in your heart if you’re lonely my dear friend
Hugs that are sent from Heaven a broken heart will mend.

This is so lovely. Every day seems to be getting harder .the missing him is so over powering and the ache in my heart :heart: :broken_heart: is there all the time xx
