Don’t always look on here been a while, so hard reading the comments with losing a loved one and coming to terms with the new way of life and going forward the best we can, I heard about WayUp widows and widowers and joined there are groups all over the UK and it’s been a real support and made so many friends even been on holiday with them, not sure not everyone is aware of this group it’s on-line, come when you like go when you like stay as long as you want, lunches/holidays/coffee meetups for both men and women.
Hi Sue, I didn’t know about this group but it sounds like a great idea, if you could give me a few more details that would be great, thank you Jude xx
I’m a member too. The Facebook group is a bit full on but I’ve met a few women (and one man) now who have been lovely and I must admit it has helped
