Nearly a year since I lost my best friend, soulmate and husband of 23 years very suddenly from sepsis, trying to take every day as it comes, I’m from Invergordon, scotland

Hi Jianye, I lost my husband in April, through misdiagnose. I can only imagine through having gone through the last 6 months how terribly hard and sad it is at times. I try and keep myself very busy, go out with family and friends, but no-one compensates for the nights. Keep being strong. I feel my husband is always with me, I hope you feel the same. Hi Morr, yes I keep a journal too. I think writing your thoughts, in my case to my husband is very comforting. I don’t write everyday, only when I need to. It goes to show how life is moving on, when at first it was every night. It will be good one day to read it all, and hopefully I will be able to get a sense of contentment from my stories. hi yorkshirelad ,I live in horsforth leeds and I have been going to the group therapy at wheatfields in leeds. I lost my wife of 46 years in august this year and its very raw.hugs and hope to all

cant say im coping to well.ive decided do a charity skydive in my partner Jaynes name and memory,as ive never been in a plane before or skydived its a challenge and a half for me.but my love for Jayne knows no bounds im hoping by the end of spring next year this will of been accomplished.good luck with finding ways to cope
