My husband died in August 2016 and myself, daughter and two sons as far as I know let everyone know. But this Christmas 2018 I received a card addressed to both of us from someone who’s writing I don’t recognise, and I don’t remember receiving a simaler card last year. I found this very upsetting as I feel guilty that I/we may have missed not letting a friend know of my husbands death, because of the pain it may cause this person when they do receive the news. Has anyone else experienced this?
