Without You

Alan
Without you I’m lost in all I do, I feel so alone and miss you
Without you by my side, my grief I cannot hide
Without you to see, life holds no meaning for me
Without you to talk to, the silence is deafening in all I do
Without you to hold, life doesn’t mean very much
Without you to listen, I feel like I’m in prison
Without you to care is the heartache I just can’t bear
Without you to echo your voice, no sound makes me rejoice
Without you to share my life, my world is in total strife
Without you nothing makes sense, I miss you physical presence
Without you I’m only half here, so I don’t feel alive
Carrying this pain it’s so hard to survive
Without you every day is a living nightmare
Your memories and love are now my only air.

Alone 1. What a wonderful but oh so true poem! This is how it is for me too after 63 years together,60 married. Never apart always in tango with each other. Life seems so pointless do not want to be here anymore. as there is no joy nothing to look forward too anyway without him, despite
my two lovely and loving sons and my dog. I am just afraid of getting ill/dying and causing them grief like mine still after two years.

Oh me too, 55 years together 51 years married. I have 2 sons and 3 cats but life is meaningless. I’m not sure how I can carry on without him x
