Hello @DanielM881 ,
I can see that you’re new to the community, so I wanted to say that I am so sorry for the loss of your mother that brings you here. It must have been very difficult for you losing your mum at such a young age.
I’m sure someone will be along to offer their support, but I wanted to share a few Sue Ryder resources with you that may help right now.
- Our Grief Guide self-help platform which has information, resources and advice to help you through your grief
- Our Grief Coach text service, which sends you personalised text support via SMS
- Our free Online Bereavement Counselling which is held via video chat
- Our Bereavement Information pages which can walk you through what you are going through.
Thank you again for sharing – please keep reaching out and know that you are not alone.
Take care,
Alex
I am very sorry for your loss. I lost my mother when I was 5. Then my father when i was in my early 20’s. It makes you feel very alone and I missed that unconditional love. Then I met my very kind and loving partner. We had nearly 40 years together. He passed away 3 months ago. My world has once again become empty. I hope that someone will come along and help and guide you. Have you ask your GP to refer you for counselling? Take care.
