Losing a partner
1

Though your gone from me my darling, ever close you’ll be,
my mind will always hold you, forever close to me.

You wake with me each morning, you talk with me each day,
in my heart your always with me , to hear each word I say.

When my heart is weary, and the coming days I fear.
Your soft sweet voice will tell me, better times are near.

You hold me in the night time, your in my every dream,
you soothe me when I worry, and my happiness redeem.

Your with me when I wander, each mile ahead you share,
and at my final destination, I know you will be there.

Hello my old hubby now you’ve left
You’ve left me so bereft
I miss you every day
Very lonely today
Couldn’t be bothered to go anywhere
Without you to share
Got in a stupid rut
Snap out of it said my gut
Hear you saying go on
But just feels like a con
So ordered my pills
Protect from my ills
Fed the cat
And answered the phone
Pesky cold calls go away
Don’t want you today
The rain has stopped
I should be glad
Didn’t get out for what was to be had
Tomorrow hope will be glad
