Sorry I needed support for a child of 13 who has recently lost his grandmother and is struggling with behaviour.
Hi moonshine 123
My 13 year old daughter was 12 when I lost my mum to a sudden brain haemorrhage last year.
My daughter has struggled terribly and her school offered her group counselling.
She was placed on a waiting list. Unfortunately when the place became available my daughter felt that she was dealing with the loss in her own way. As a girl she has no trouble talking about her nan and as a family we have been able to get through the worst grief.
Why dont you speak with your school to see what services they can provide?
My mum and daughter were joined at the hip and it’s been awful so I completely understand.
