I keep using my phone tonight as a distraction either posting here, social media or just reading stuff. I’m full of thoughts about mum tonight and a bit emotionally charged. Worried about the council tax oweing because Councils don’t care. My mum’s money has put me over in savings so can’t claim Universal Credit, but can’t work due to health at the moment. So pretty much every day is the same just me in the flat alone.
Hi @Keith68
It’s hard when we lose a loved one and I’m sorry you are feeling bad tonight.
Finances can be a worry - do you need some support with them ? I’ve always found the citizens advice bureau to be helpful.
Are you getting out and about during the week - have you got some people close by who can support you ? Lean on them if you have at the toughest times.
If not then keep posting here. Lots of folk with support and kindness to offer.
Hope you get some rest xx
I was lucky on Thursday I managed to get to a community centre where I used to live years ago where the citizens advice were there. Seemed an answer to my many worries.
A lady had a laptop and registered all my concerns.
Said someone would contact me.
Now why can’t that happen in more places? There is nothing like that where I live.
I got a number for Citizens Advice but not rung them as of yet. I not paid any Council Tax this year. Well I made 1 payment but not working due to being diagnosed with Myeloma Cancer back in June. Loss my mum August last year. Still in the same flat I shared with mum, feels like somebody else flat now. It’s weird, don’t know how I feel!

Do you still feel the same now? That’s tough that you have a diagnoses yourself in top of your kiss as well.
I should be sorting stuff out like financial issues but getting my head round it is really difficult. Although got some bits advice from CAB there are still lots to do.
