Awe Mary loved the photo, brought back memories of my children being put on their chestnut pony Goldie when about the age of Jonty. What better reasons could you have.

Hi Mary I just thought I would send you a message saying how lovely it is when you say that you are still married to your Stan I really agree and although we wasn’t married as long as you only 51 years but I feel the same the same my Ron and I are still married and always will be. I love him more now than ever didn’t think I could they say absence makes the heart grows fonder. Thankfully I have such a lovely family who live quite near but even if they didn’t I would be like you and not want to move because of so many wonderful memories here. Love and hugs to you. Mary.xxxx

Love and hugs to you too, I love Stan more than ever, yesterday, I found a lovely letter from him, I think it was when I was going into hospital to have an operation. I was really sad.
Neither of us will ever get over losing our husbands will we? In a daft way I am glad that he hasn’t to endure the lockdowns, it would have driven him mad.

Hi Mary thank you for your lovely reply. My Ron was like Stan I have a lovely letter from Ron on our Golden wedding anniversary. I just wish I had told him more that I loved him but we all have little regrets don’t we. I hope our lovely husbands knew how much we loved them.
