Bereavement counselling

Your very welcome

@To All
At the moment I’m having counselling. One group one and a one to one. Whichever one works best for me I’ll continue with. Death is an every day occurrence and I feel it’s something that should be spoke about more thoughts and feelings you go through. No one prepares you and I think counselling should be offered and there should be alot more drop in places etc to go. Some of the places I’ve had to really search for as if they are hidden on purpose!!! It’s wrong. Every person will go through what we all are in their lifetime. Xx

Its was with the hospice my beloved husband passed away in.

You should ask your Gp to refer you

@Paul67
Did you have to wait long to start with your doctor referral? My docyhas done same for me but says it could be up to 3 to 6 months wait. I suppose it can depend on where youi e as well. That’s why I took matters into my own hands. Xx

I was sort of lucky with me getting counselling because I was taken into the mental health hospital I had my first appointment within a week I do know of people struggling to get an appointment but no matter how long the wait it’s worth it in the end

Hi @Boo2 ye i think it depends your area,and the Gp practice :slightly_smiling_face:
