We were separate girls from boys
But the boys used to go the art room window
To watch us playing net ball one of them was my boyfriend Ray.

Went to an all girls high school. Culottes were supposed to stop boys seeing our knickers. They came down to our knees. But honestly wool to play netball and hockey in and no showers. You didn’t want to be around us after double games.
Then although an inner London school we had fencing and horse riding as options.
