Hi Ron
I’m feeling pretty much the same.
It’s 8 months today and it still feels like yesterday
I’m trying hard to stay out of the swamp but I can feel it pulling
X x
Hi Liz.
I can feel it tugging at my ankles too.xx
Ron and Liz
I have hands to help you. Even though I got another email from the govt to say the reference # HMRC isn’t correct!! I have done a screenshot of the letter and have sent it back to them. I don’t owe any tax.
On the plus side I have some energy for a change. Throat getting there but still not back to normal
Siobhan
Xx
So glad you are finally feeling better.
Ron and Liz.
I found the darker colder weather dragged me down last year just as I thought I was coming out of it a bit. My hands are here for you.
It’s taking me down too but not as far as last year.
Sandra
Hello everyone,
Well it is not a good day for so many.
Tony is ok.
Tony was settled and was eating.
The pneumatic drill was getting closer to my garage wall and I decided I needed to find out how it would impact on on my garage.
So, have put on my big girl pants, no lights, no sirens , no lurex just full support.
I went out and the builders were in the road.
So I very timidly approached them. I said who I am and said I was being nosy.
They laughed.
I explained that I was concerned about the garage and that I had not been told about the work. I said I was sorry to bother them and had no intention of causing trouble it was just that I was worried.
They were very nice and invited me around to see. I had never been around there before.
Many years ago previous owners had built concrete steps right against the garage wall (sloping garden). These are being removed.
So I was right to go round!
They said they would call me around when that was done so I could see what was going on. They also showed my where some pointing had disappeared on my property and one problem with guttering. They are going to do it for me. I offered to pay but they are doing it for nothing.
Plus I told them about Paul and Tony.
I also said if Paul had still been here I would have sent him round, which made them laugh
They seem very genuine, definitely kind.
So glad I went round.
Of course, I came in and burst into tears.
It was plucking up the courage to do it, even though they were lovely, the stress of doing it.
So hoping when the tears stop. Relief will settle in.
Thank you for letting me share.
Love and hugs,
Linda xxx
Thank you Sandra.xx
I was going to suggest talking to the builders. As you weren’t going to shout or complain at them they probably would be nice. Tea and biscuits usually work as well.
Xx
Sandra
Well done Linda that took courage a tiny step forward,it’s really nice of them to do the remedial work for you,as Sandra said tea and biscuits usually smooth the path.xxx
I really was dreading going around.
They really were so kind and understanding.
The boss understood about how I feel about Tony as he told me he has an elderly dog and he is concerned how much longer he will have him.
Thank you xx
Thankyou for your hands Siobhan
I’m really hoping not to slip too far
I’m just a bit up and down
This missing him just doesn’t get any easier
Maybe I’ll need to neck all Lucys brandy
I’m glad you’re feeling a bit better
Love and hugs

We’ll have to hang on to each other

Thankyou Sandra
I’m trying to keep busy but sometimes it just catches me.

I’m glad you’ve sorted something out Linda
It was good that they are nice.
I think most of them are. They’re only doing their jobs after all.

Linda
Well done you for being proactive. I can understand going home and crying.
Give yourself a cuppa and chocolate if you have it
Siobhan
That is exactly what I said to them …… That I knew they were doing their job and that I had no problem with them.
Gosh, these big girl pants have been needed haven’t they.

He is eating and eating at the moment.
I will definitely pass on your cuddle xx
