It continues to amaze me what people say. I love your response.
I have been quiet today as I have been so miserable. Spoke with a GP today who then asked to see me. So am on a med in case I have acid reflux & an antibiotic in case it’s an infection. If they don’t work it’s the new med I started about 5 weeks ago & dosage increased recently. So am relieved there is a plan.

Hi Siobhan.
It’s good you have a plan. Bet the med for acid reflux is omeprazole. I’ve been on it for years for gastritis. Bound to make you feel a bit more secure that there is at a plan. At least they didn’t make you have the tube down your throat. That really is not a nice test.
Now stay out of the swamp and help us pull out the others in there.

Thanks Sandra. You are correct. I was on it years ago & suggested it might be acid reflux. But the past 24 hrs not sure as I am having other symptoms so could be an infection.
I am going to my in-laws tomorrow. I had plans to go sat but my MIL called last night to come earlier. I told her just now about possible infection but they aren’t worried. I need some TLC & am lucky I have such great in-laws.
Feel so much more positive so happy to help anyone else out of the swamp.

I can go home tomorrow! So your positive vibes helped. I have had the all-clear from surgical and medical teams and the physio. Blood tests tomorrow to confirm wound is no longer infected, so not 100 per cent yet. Unless @Ron11 can get his old SWAT team to deliver a pristine tube of blood with my name on it.
Katie took Omeprazole for years, they changed it to Lansoprazole.

I have had a week of a lot of company for me. My carers 3 times a day although only 2 visits yesterday as she had to have a mammogram. Tuesday hairdresser. Wednesday chiropodist. Today supermarket delivery and my friend who cleans. Also been contacted on Facebook by my nephew in France. He does triathlons and it
Ironman competitions professionally. When younger he was a member of the GB Team. Giving me some physio suggestions to help my knees.
