coping with day to day

I give you a big hug - I wished I could say something to help but I know I can’t
We have spoken a few times before and it seems you have tried different ways to get out of this situation- do you think you can rent somewhere and then rent your house too? Or are you in a position to rent somewhere while your house is sold?
So sorry that you have to cope with health issues and the grieving at the same time

Does your doctor know of your situation? Do you think he could give you something to ease the way you feel? Nothing is going to take away our sorrow and sadness but you may not feel so depressed

Big hugs

Sadie…
…thank you for the ((( hugs )))…it is a parkhome and parkhomes can stay on the for sale market for quite some time, unlike a bricks and mortar house…so i will be stuck here in this isolated and unsocial-unfriendly site for some time, also we live way down in the valleys and off the radar to various helpers who wont even venture to come here…

Jackie…

Jackie, there is always a way - just don’t loose hope
Do keep asking doctors, MS society, church etc just pester them w requests - tell them with no uncertain terms that you need help

If you don’t mind me saying I think you are very depressed- tell them you need help
I wished I could be closer so we could have a cuppa
Sadie xx

Ahh Jackie.Jeanette here.I really feel for you.Try and be strong .X

I did exactly that and went to bed too early. Just spend so many hours awake through the night then. When eventually went to sleep but woke up crying this morning. Can’t remember what I dreamt about but obviously not good. Hugs back to you all. Brenny

Weekends can be much harder
Hope your day improved a bit - the sun is shinning here
Safie xx

Thank you yes the sun helped a bit today. Xx

It certainly has. I’ve been feeling so low and went out to lunch and a visit to the nurseries with my lovely neighbours. The sun and the trip out really cheered me up.I needed it after spending most the evening crying last night.Hugs to all.x

Peacefulspot, it takes so much effort to be positive and to find things to do. I think at this right moment I just feel very sorry for myself

Oh I do understand how you feel.I lost both my parents but have never known grief like this.I feel like I’ve lost part of me.But we are all in this together.Big hug.Jeanette.

I cried this morning 6.am when i got up knowing another morning with a now empty bedroom where my Richard would have been fast asleep…This place i am living in ( luxury parkhome ) is too big and lonely for me, a one person…when we first came here there was the two of us and two fur-babies, one we lost within seven months, the other now re-homed in a large house just outside of this parkhome but they dont bring him to see me, even though last Bank holiday Monday he was brought in their car to the people living opposite me, this of course got me crying and very upset…this is what the people are like here, cruel and very uncaring…no one cares about checking up on their neighbours…
I just want my Richard back with me…another day i have to get through…

Jackie…

Dear Jackie , so much in need of help and you seem to be unable to find a way out. Don’t loose hope , keep asking and trying to get help

Hope your Monday improves

Hi Ang.Sorry not been in touch for awhile.Been off with a stomach bug.Better now.I think my immune system is low that’s why I’m catching things easily. I missed going to choir this week.Hope you are ok?x

Hi Sadie.Another horrible Saturday evening had no company so cried over my knitting.
Cheered myself up today by buying my small Xmas tree for December. Usually do green, red and gold. This year white & silver.Got a little angel that lights up for David.Big hugs.x

Good for you getting that Christmas tree. I’m not a great lover of Christmas these days, too commercial and all greed but I do enjoy the jolly songs and carol singing. I also like the decorated tree’s.
Brian died just before Christmas and I found myself walking around the streets at night looking at all the lovely tree’s and lights. I didn’t want to bother with my tree or decorations but kiddies in the family decided that I was going to have my tree put up and did it for me. You see this was always something that Brian enjoyed doing. A decorated tree and lights around the window. I couldn’t face it but was pleased that I had them in the end, the lights gave me comfort. I must get a little angel that lights up and I can imagine that it’s my guardian angel or Brian and I can hopefully have a better year to come because this last one is something I want to forget.

Thank you Pat for your reply.
Yes I can understand your feelings about Christmas. We never went over the top.But I’ve always loved Xmas.It was just a lot of hard work to my husband as he was a chef but as work eased off he began to enjoy it more. We loved having the family all round. This Xmas is my first without him so it’s going tobe hard.X

Peacefulspot, last year was my first Christmas without Jack - I was prepare for the worse but it was good, love bing it was as if Jack was here but New Year’s Eve was awful - I really thought it was the other way around
Daisies xx

Last Christmas was my first without Brian but unlike you we didn’t have the family around we usually went to other’s house or away for Christmas. I wanted to stay on my own last Christmas. I remember sitting on the dining room floor, playing a CD of Brian playing his guitar and singing. I put it on loud and sobbed. My grandson turned up and took me back to his house for dinner, bless him. I felt as if I was in a dream though and didn’t want to spoil the day for others. The dinner went well and I was so grateful but after a couple of hours wanted to go home and be on my own again. Take the day as it comes. If you need to be alone then do so for a while.

Hello Jeanette I hope you’re feeling better than you was. I’m fine thanks I’ve had 5 days in Tenerife’s with my 2 sisters and 2 friends it was a belated birthday treat. We had a lovely time and fabulous weather. Difficult to be back home as you can imagine. All I want to do is share my stories with my husband and hear his laughter. I know he would be happy I had a good time.
Take care Ang xx
