CREATING A SHRINE FOR MY MAM

Hi Suzanne.
Just catching up with the posts. Will definitely photograph the equipment before I send it back.
Glad your friend has the tickets . About 5 years since I’ve seen Wicked I think. Hamilton is round the corner to it as well. Hope you will be able to get there OK as those pesky strikes happening over three days in a fortnight’s time.
Included the poster for tomorrow’s show. It’s gonna be big judging by the pics I’ve seen !
Hope you have good rest of the day and speak soon. Hopefully will post some more pics tomorrow
Sending lots of love

Toffee used to go in our rabbit hutch, well I say mine it was our sons rabbit :rabbit2: we were only supposed to be looking after it when he moved house, it stay with us until it died.
Sorry gone off topic, they were two boys, but toffee used to kick the rabbit out the hutch, he wasn’t one for sharing.
But bunny that’s his name, no imagination, used to hump an old football :soccer: left in the garden :joy: he tried it on toffee once, think that’s why they didn’t get on.
Yours both look quite contented together. X

So pleased your friend is coming, sometime to look forward too.
I’ve just got home from shopping, went straight after work on a Friday as it’s my early finish. I haven’t put the shopping away yet as feel bit shattered. Sitting here talking to all of you instead. I wish I could drive and didn’t have to rely on buses all the time. Never mind I keep the bus company going.

I don’t drive and my anxiety and buses don’t mix so J am lucky to have friends who chauffeur me and a friendly local taxi firm

I wish science would put more effort into teleportation- wouldn’t it be lovely if we just teleport to one another when needed!!

That’s a good idea teleportation Beki, I get travel sick that would be useful for going in holiday.
I don’t mind buses, it what Doug used to do and it reminds of going with him. Our kids and their partners are good and will take me places I can’t get to by bus, but I don’t like to take advantage of them.
If we lived near Christine she could be our chauffeur and it would get her out the house more, and we could talk about gardening.
Good job done on the palm tree.

Thanks Debbie.
I have got one of my stagey friends performing in the show . Missed her last time in The Red Shoes . Been looking out for her on today as that’s where I normally chat to her but she’s busy preparing for tomorrow.
The Car Man is the dance version of the opera Carmen and it uses a lot of the music . The Royal Albert Hall is supposed to be transformed.
Looking forward to it as it’s been a long last few days.
Hope your weekend will br kind to you
Speak soon
Love and best wishes

Hi Suzanne,
That thing with dad happened before the fight and we’d had a good day. Still don’t get it. Is he refusing to love me the way mam did? I have to accept he just doesn’t give a shit about me. He’s always been a very selfish person but I’m still trying to make sense of it. Wonder if my sis will ask him what’s going on after our chat.
Have pics of my wheelbarrow and garden. Will post tomorrow.
It so much more fun being Barb than the other one x

Hi Beki,
That’s a huge job. Well done! Though I did prefer it overgrown! I love gardens where its clearly been left to ramble, like an old lady’s. I love palms. You have a wonderful garden with mature plants and trees. I got stuck in today with potting on my large tubs of plug plants, tied up the fruits in the orchard bit, sited and willed 2 water butts and the fishtank, topped up the ponds, cut and put up two pergola legs, enjoyed a bit of sun too. Being in the garden is a real tonic. I was up at 6.30 this morning, crying for mam as usual. I just cannot believe she isn’t here. It’s too awful to be real. I am still waiting to see if she comes back. I know she won’t but I can’t stop myself.
Will be stuck in my bedroom for the next 2 days now as the creep will be at home.
Tried booking a swim for me and my niece and the site is impossible to use. Can’t book 2 at one time and can’t book 2 separately incase we don’t get the same time slot. Will dig out my cossies and take a deep breath in! Been over 2 years since I went. Looking forward to it though.
Enjoy being with your mate. and I’m proud of you for getting out there. I know how hard it is because it took me weeks to summon up the courage. Will post some pics tomorrow. Night hun

Hi Neil,
Your film looks very raunchy! Tell us all the juicy bits! Enjoy it. When you going? I wish I could go out and about. I am looking forward to going swimming if I can book up on their awful website. Had a good day in the garden and will post pics tomorrow. Not looking forward to being stuck in my bedroom for the next 2 days with the creep at home.
Did you manage to get some pics of your mams chair? It’s nice to know you have it if you want to, even if you don’t look at it again. Another hurdle to overcome. My good mood didn’t last. I woke up crying for mam as I always do and still don’t want to believe it’s true. She feels so far away. I miss her terribly. We had no concept of the reality we now exist in before our mams left. I still imagine she’s not come back yet off holiday and I have so much to tell her. Always lovely getting her back home after she’s been up north. I keep remembering things and being shocked because I don’t know where the thoughts come from. They’re so random. Getting upset again so will go and post my garden pics tomorrow. Enjoy being out and about.

Hi Debbie,
Oh that would be wonderful! I would have an excuse to get it cleaned, inside and out. You should see the cobwebs next to my wing mirror. My neighbour/friend was amazed the spider could cling on. They do have 8 legs. Hoping to boom p for swimming with my niece for Sunday. And if not might go for a bike ride round a local park. Silly to wait. And I think once I’ve done it I can arrange to do it as a routine to get me out the house and will be lovely to reconnect with my niece. I miss her. She’s so lovely and very level headed. She always sees the situation for how it is. Will tell her about dad. Bet she hasn’t got a clue that he’s disowned me. Still baffled and hurt by it.
So pleased to see Beki getting out into the garden. Will post my pics tomorrow. Very jel of her palm.
