Not that I’m trivialising your bad day but turns out Steven Ogg is coming to the Comic Con I’m going to in a few months x
Love the Ogg! If you can give him a massive hug from me.
Thank you everyone for the kind words. When you think you are lonely (1) you are lonely and (2) you assume no-one else is!! When you get these bleak feelings it is very scary,
Spoke to my neighbour who is lovely, her terminally ill father is living with her. We are going to spend some more time together next week.
My friends cancellation I am sure is totally genuine and these things can’t be helped. I am still going to go into Matilda my craft cave and one of my friends from craft club is going to pop round, She’s 80 and a force of nature! Just hope the heavy rain stays away.
Posting here really does help. Thank you all so much xx

What a lovely warm evening, been sitting in the garden, still there now. Just done a bit of dead heading and watered. Watching the lights twinkling.
Lovely lights. I should take some pictures of my solar lights outside but am too lazy to leave my chair!!

Morning everyone.
I’ve had a lot to catch up on and not sure I can remember everything. Last few days have felt a bit busy but not always a bad thing I suppose. It was 4 months yesterday but tried not to focus on the date and the time of day too much. Was kept distracted by youngest most of the day anyway. Life feels a bit like one big blur. Had my last bereavement session on Thursday also. It did help and not sure how I feel knowing it’s done.
I’m sorry for those of you who are not feeling too good at the moment and I hope it passes soon. As much as it can. Tina, we love you and we love to hear from you no matter how you are feeling and the same goes to you too Beki. Keep talking to us xxx
The plaque I ordered for mums box came on Thursday. Had a good cry. It says love you millions as that’s what I’d text her every night in out goodnight text followed by lots of kisses. I’ll add some bits to the lid over the time.
Debbie, you saying about defrosting your freezer reminded me of the day before mum as I did mine and the last picture I sent her was of my defrosted and tidy freezer! I led an exciting life even then!
Neil, Christine and Suzanne, I hope you’re all ok. Neil and Christine, just wanted to say it’s been so uplifting to see how positive you both have been and glad you enjoyed the theatre Neil. Christine I’m so glad you went swimming and enjoyed it.
I hope the weekend is kind to you all. Thought we were having a heat wave but it’s gloomy here this morning. Yesterday was warm though. Waste of time putting up the paddling pool though!
Lots of love to you all

Hi Beki.
I also have had that butterflies sensation and it’s quite unnerving as I don’t know why. Maybe it’s purely a build up of physical tension trying to find a weak spot to come out. Stress has a lot to answer for. Have a lot of floaters myself but you kind of get used to them.
Good on your friend for getting that appointment for you! I hope things are ok.
Have a peaceful day.
xx
Debbie
Anything sparkly, twinkly or colourful and my spirits are immediately uplifted. Those lights are gorgeous.
xx
Hi Suzanne.
The first time I had those occular migraines they scared the life out of me! How strange they don’t have accompanying symptoms.
Bigger clothes, hahaha. If I pile any more on it will be a case of cutting holes in a duvet for my head and arms and legs!
Have a good day.
Hi all.
Will come back and post a few replies and a catch up later. I think I’ve maxed out on the number of messages I can post. It’s a pity when that happens - I don’t like leaving people out.
Quick hi for now to Neil, Christine, Nic.
Much love xxx
Hello again.
Christine
Hope the garden gets a bit closer to being finished. It’s always a work in progress with gardening isn’t and even when there’s nothing to do there’s always something to be found.
Zoe’s hard work right now. It’s a big dog now (to me anyway) and it’s a very rough “player”. nearly knocks me over. I fill it’s paddling pool up with 7 watering cans, even though we have a hose, but it’s more interested in playing with two buckets of water. Maybe it doesn’t like getting its feet wet in the paddling pool!
I can understand why you’d feel upset about the Hospital. The one good thing was it’s a hurdle you got through sooner rather than later and survived. We all know hurdles grow in size the longer they are left.
I keep saying I’ll post some photos of my gardening efforts. Not on your scale Christine! My Sister told me yesterday that a rose shed separated and given me was in fact a David Austin. Shed split it because it wasn’t doing that well where she had it. It’s still not doing well but the half she gave to me is. It was actually sat in a carrier bag in soil for nearly two summers!
Hope you get to the swimming.
Nic
That’s a lovely inscription and the box looks so attractive. This might sound a bit odd but something rings a bell about you recovering the box or have I imagined it. If so I’ve gone completely bonkers. It’s so pretty it must bring a lot of comfort.
Neil
Yeah you are definitely “jammy” Neil to get the upgrades. The cat that got the dream springs to mind.
Funny, I haven’t heard the expression “jammy” since I was at school. Long may it continue.
Love to all xx
Hi Tina
Lovely to hear from you. I’m getting Jamie by the day. My dancer friend Ashley last night sent me a staff/ performers ticket code for friends to see one of her last performances in The Car Man - any ticket in the Royal Albert Hall for £10! Booked this morning. Can’t believe my luck .
Hope your Saturday will be as good as can be
Speak again soon
Love and best wishes
Neil x
Hi all. Hope you are all as well as can be.
I was just saying on my post to Tina that I had a lovely surprise last night from my dancer friend Ashley.
She sent me a staff /performers discount code for friends to get a £10 ticket anywhere in the Royal Albert Hall for any performance this weekend. I just booked for the final performance tomorrow. I got Row 2 Seat 5 in the Stalls right near the stage. Not good for the blood pressure though . I messaged her just now and she said she was happy to help and thanked me for my support . Dancers are just the most fabulous people .
Also gets me out on Father’s Day and am sure Dad would want me to enjoy myself . Both parents sure are bringing me some luck at the moment . And we all need any luck that’s going dont we?
Sending lots of love and best wishes to you all
Neil x
Oh Tina you have literally made me laugh out loud with your duvet comment and I am sure it’s not true x
Me being me at first thought the ocular migraines was me having a stroke so much so I ran to the mirror to see if my face was droopy and then I was like ‘oh it’s angels’ x
I have never had one before so was a bit taken aback and the only thing different I had eaten was some pineapple sweets from Aldi….maybe a pure coincidence but threw the rest out lol x
How are you doing lately? Is your brother still being a twat? how is Zoe coping with this heat? xx
Neil…what can I say??
I would definitely say that someone took your decision to whether go out this weekend or next out if your hands…did I ever say before you are totally jammy x
What a fantastic thing for her to give you and totally need a bit of luck and appreciation these days x
I am just so pleased for you x
I love your lights and can only imagine it can be quite peaceful at night to sit and reflect x
I have a man giving me a quote for a bit of wooden fencing which would make my back corner of the garden more private and would allow me to put up some lights etc but all depends on price as like everything else apparently wood have like trebled in price x
What are you up to this weekend? is it another scorcher where you are today?
Chat later xx
@Beki…how are you finding yourself this morning? Like Tina was agreeing I too have these feelings in the pit of my stomach. Have no idea what or why and when I get them I just feel sick x luckily for me I don’t seem to get them every morning now just occasionally so hopefully you’ll find the same happens for you x
Did I read that you’ll have company today after all in your craft van?
Always like to see what you create x have a good day x
@christine51….what you up to today? Is Creep going to bugger off and let you do what you want in the garden?
What are you watching these days? x. I’m keeping up to date with The Boys on Prime…not everyone’s cup of tea as pretty brutal, weird with very strong language…I love it x
Are you swimming this weekend? Always love to hear from you so post when you can
@nicnic…nice to see a post from you and can only imagine you’ve been kept busy with your pair of munchkins x
What you planning to do this weekend? We’ve got a like stupid Fayre on at the local cricket pitch near the primary school today and may have a look when I’m back from my volunteering but think you were meant to buy tickets and I’m skint….may because I’ve bought three pairs of Vans this month x my pal introduced me to Vinted so I think it’s all her fault lol x. Have a good day whatever you do and chat soon x
Hi Nic
Lovely to see you post. Had quite a positive couple of weeks but know that I could easily have a couple of bad ones.
I’m trying to live in the moment and keep my anxiety at bay. My shows are doing the most to keep it at bay. Will be a test after tomorrow as I havent anything booked for just under 3 weeks.
Fathers Day always difficult for me so I’m glad I’ll be going to watch Ashley again and Dad would want me too as well. Hoping to take in a museum while I’m out too
Sending lots of love
Neil x
Hi Suzanne
This morning I woke up with the stress feeling and I wake up feeling normal and then as I fully wake up I go boiling hot. Think it’s a mix of cortisol and hormones perhaps
My friend who was coming to craft had to call off unfortunately though it’s actually quite chilly out in there today.
A friend from craft club popped round for a couple of hours cuppa and chat. She’s 80 this year and widowed 22 years ago and she just gets it. Such a lovely lady
After all that sun today, so gloomy today.
But have a bit of an appetite and am going to have some pasta.
Oh microwave just pinged- back in a bit!
What a lovely gesture Neil from your dancer friends!
Have a great time at the shows and I hope they help make this weekend easier.
No outside plant pictures today but have put some remote battery tea lights in the terrarium. Given today the weather is gloomy they help brighten the place up
Hi Beki.
That is so lovely. Always great to see everyone’s pictures x
