@NEILB72 how are you this morning? My friend was telling me last night that the job centre is still pushing her to find a job even though sheās been told she has arthritis in her hips (sheās only our age so scary) and canāt stand or sit for too long. They seem to have no common sense in these places

Christine, so glad to hear from you. Missed your posts. I really hope creep gets dealt with soon somehow. Itās good you have been getting out. I donāt have a lot planned for the weekend. My eldest is going away for 2 nights with her auntie. Will miss my snuggles in bed for sure. Iāll just have to deal with getting jumped on at random times through the night by my youngest. Sheās a bit of a night owlā¦ā¦
Things are pretty crap right now but somehow trying to stay positive and somehow wing it through life at the momentā¦. Like my sister says, fake it til you make itā¦. Hard going sometimes though.

Hi all,
Just wanted to pop in so I can keep the momentum going and not let things slide. I think Iām exhausted with the stress of creep (scary imagining what I havenāt caught him doing) and swimming. Just woke up. Up at 5 with Porscha screaming for chicken. She wonāt stop until she gets something. Also canāt make her way out of the curtain from the windowsill so screams for help. Itās only because sheās old that Iām putting up with it, otherwise have no patience to be faffing on.
Should be in the garden today, even if it is to just dig over the shed area prepping for planting but the workmen are very loud doing up the hoarders house on the other side to me. Tina can imagine the courage that will take to even sit on the patio. Have swimming booked Sat with niece and little nephew so looking forward to it. And Monty Don at 7.30 tonight so donāt want to miss it like I usually do.
We had a torrential downpour yesterday (so loud it woke me up) so not getting the heatwave. Suzanne, the weeding can wait! Just enjoy the sun while you are off. You work so hard. Must be lovely to live in the sun and just lol all day. Thatās all I seem able to do at the mo. Swimming reminds me of hot holidays when the wave machine comes on and I get really excited.
Will have a look for car cameraās this afternoon and try to set up my house cameras again. I hate technology but must do it. He moved the car yesterday that was sitting for years on his grass. Thatās because I sent pics with my complaint outlining what all the other neighbours are doing. I wonāt be bullied by the housing woman when everyone else is getting away with shit. Iām not spiteful and just reporting peeps for what theyāre doing. Very stressful. I wonder if heāll do anything to my car now.
Must get ready. Havenāt slept in like this for a long time. The garden isnāt the drive compelling me to achieve even though thereās not much left to do. I hope it rains so I have an excuse not to go out there.
My friendsā cat has made a cosy bed in the wardrobe. She likes to come in now and have a snooze.
If you want a pick me up watch youtubeās adorable racoons. Thereās a man feeds them on his porch and others are helped to climb out of big dumpsters where they go foraging. Just lovely to see.
Hope everyone is well and getting through the day. Iām sure Iāll pick myself up again. Itās just so hard to get any motivation at all.

Mums birthday today. Feeling just numb at the moment, which I think the system does sometimes to protect you
Granddad very upset this morning - as him and mums birthdays close together, used to celebrating together.
Just going to take the day as it comes.

Sadly Neil it seems to be all about targets with the Job Centre. Each is under pressure from the one above and it just trickles down to one using the service. Individually there are some kind people working there but as an organisation it can be a bit brutal sometimes when we are feeling fragile.
Cats know which side their bread is buttered donāt they Christine?! My Sister used to have a cat visitor and sheād often feed it. Lived down her road and it used to call on everyone to see where the best deal of the day was. Cunning little things arenāt they. Zoe is 1yrs old this week so all itās siblings owners are meeting up with their dogs too. Thatās 13 shepskyās running amok as they have rented a field. That has the potential to either go well or very wrong! Donāt let the Council fob you off, as Iām sure you wouldnāt. They tend to do the least possible, or used to anyway. I havenāt been to the Churchyard in a month and now Iām scared to so I am struggling a bit. On a lighter note the Rose I bought from the garden centre looks like it has a bud and itās a fragranced one so looking forward to seeing if it comes to anything.
I wish you had an ally that could come to your house quite often. That would throw him a bit. They always think your more of a target on your own. Itās not on though and it needs to be resolved quickly now. Youāve done your time with it all.

Iām officially back to work tomorrow so thatāll be the end of my hols but had a nice day out with my goddaughter which was unexpected x
Was going to go to the Game Fayre at Scone Palace today but was Ā£20 each to get in and started to rain so didnāt bother but then saw on Instagram that Aldo Kane is there (not sure if you know who I mean but heās like ex-SAS and does a lot of work with Steve Backshall etc) and would have been amazing to see him but hey ho lol x
Hope the weather at least stays fair for you x

When looking at car cameras try and see if you can get one (not even sure if it exists tbh) that has the ability to record even when car is not moving as I had one but everytime the car stopped the camera stopped too so couldnāt record anything unless I was moving which no bleeding use lol x

I should be OK as I know Iām going out Wednesday. Iām hoping to do a museum exhibition on the same day. As long as I have something booked in the next few days then usually Iām OK.
Glad you had a nice holiday. Saw today , if you are going to see another show or two when down here again, Come From Away and Mary Poppins are closing at the beginning of January- just a heads up there.
No I dont know who Aldo Kane is but will google him later.

Iām the same as you Neil i think if I know Iāve something to do even if a few days time it helps. I donāt ever have much though!!! Iām going to my sisters for dinner tomorrow which is always nice and I do look forwards to it. Sheās a good cook so thatās an added bonus. But like spending time with her and my niece and nephew.
Beki, I hope today has been ok for you. As ok as it can be. Like you we didnāt make a huge fuss on occasions really. Didnāt even see my mum or sister last Christmas but saw them on Boxing Day but never a whole day thing. Not cos we donāt like each other but mum didnāt really like to make a fuss of anything.
Lucy I have been thinking of you today and I hope youāre ok.

It does help when , if youāre having a bad day, if you have something nice planned you know better days are coming. Just been talking to one of my dancing friends about meeting up during the next season and that instantly changes my mood and thinking of good times to come as that is my happy place.
My mind is in a much better place now. I think it was because of Mums 7month anniversary, the trouble Iāve been getting with my job support and not at a show this week thatās made me worse. Next week will be better!

Hi everyone
Just realised I would have been watching the musical We Will Rock You at my local theatre this week. When I saw the prices I said no thank you. Iāve seen three shows in London recently and all prices together was still cheaper than at my local theatre. Will be going there in October for Strictly Ballroom The Musical starring Kevin Clifton as I missed it in the West End a few years ago.
I think I remember it was Tina asking about the Queen show so thatās the reason I didnt go

@NEILB72 I was supposed to be going to see Blood Brothers, with some friend but it clashed with proms in the park that I already said I would go to with my daughter. Typical all happens on the same day. I sort of lost a bit of interest in strictly havenāt watched it for two years now, but I do love Kevin from Grimsby. Now I know Anton is going to be a permanent judge I probably start again this autumn. Local theatres can be expensive. What are you going to see on Wednesday you may have already said.
@Tina19, 13 one year old dogs all in one field, that will be choas.
@Suzanne30, hope back to work today is okay, I always hate going back after a break.
@LucyF90, I was thinking about you and your brother yesterday. Glad you were both together to support each other and remember all the good times with your mum.
@Beki, another difficult day for you yesterday being your mumās birthday. It was lovely to have grandad with you to share the day. I see from the photos he is keeping busy in your garden.
@christine51, canāt wait to see more photos of what you have been doing in your garden. My neighbours are all dog lovers so I donāt get any cats visiting me, they certainly know all the best places to go. I hope the creep is giving you peace.

Sorry your feeling low today, I felt that way too the last couple of days. Iāve had such a busy week at work, family issues, catching up with friends, medical appointments, messy church, Iāve not kept up at home. Since going to breavement support group on Thursday which was very emotional and draining canāt stop crying. I think Iām just exhausted. I havenāt even had time to go food shopping this week so did online Iceland order.
I will really be glad for the school holidays to come so I can get off this treadmill for a while.

I know Iām no Catherine Zeta Jones but neither is he Keanu Reeves haha. Iāll think of something to do whilst he has Zoe as I canāt really go anywhere and leave it in the house on its own. My Husband loved Strictly and I havenāt been able to watch it since which is about 5 years ago. I was watching some travel show and Bruno T was presenting with Craig RH and Bruno had white hair, I was astounded but he looked better for it. Strictly had kind of descended into a bit of a pantomime though by that point so canāt say I missed it. I preferred the old style āCome Dancingā from years ago with proper ballroom music and the puffball ball gowns. Like everything else, times change!

I had been waiting for your Queen review!! I did remember you had said it was end June so thought maybe youād changed your mind. I can well believe itās expensive going to a local theatre. Itās a shame as then it gets a bit āexclusiveā and people miss out. But thereāll be opportunities elsewhere in the future I would imagine. How many different theatres have you visited roughly? Your Google maps timeline must look very interesting!
