Hahahaha Jimmy Corkhill, forgot about him.
Actually starting the forms is harder than doing them probably. I went online but although I have a government gateway account the verification process wasn’t going through. It irritates me as someone that’s a UK Citizen born and bred, but that’s another moan!
On my hands and knees late last night and turned the kitchen upside down and inside out. I’d had to go out and Zoe managed to get in kitchen, reach a photo frame and took it away to break it up and I couldn’t find a large shard of glass so was frantic she’d swallowed it. I found it, I wouldn’t care but there was a bag full of dog toys in the kitchen too. That’s her “you shouldn’t have left me home alone” attitude.
Just plodding on otherwise.

Just been reading your post to Suzanne about filling in forms. I’ve had an absolute nightmare doing that the last few months. Doesnt help when pension companies/ govt departments have been working from home. When you have a query you cant speak to anyone and keep going round in circles !

I tried to apply for UC cause my friend said I may get some help (which I didn’t I hasten to add cause I work and have a teeny amount of savings) but everytime I tried to put in my passport/driving license details it told me they weren’t right so I ended up registering with some Royal Mail thing that accepted my ID and let me progress…so totally feel your frustration. I wondered if they did that deliberately so folk would just give up as too frustrating

Good luck with the job then as believe Halfords isn’t too bad a company to work for. One of our colleagues used to work for them and only left cause he wanted full time and they could only offer part time…will keep fingers crossed for you and hope the football goes your way tomorrow x

Housework to be done so nothing remarkable happening for me. Was going to see if I was up to visiting the retail park but if I bought anything would I really need it, and more importantly where would I even store it!! I don’t know how people go on round here as the Amazon van is round more often than the Ice Cream van.

Yes I notice the Amazon van around my way alot. I can’t talk though as I’m waiting on an Amazon delivery.
Tonight is my first night without my eldest in 7 weeks. The last time she stayed with her dad was the Saturday before mum went. He won’t have the youngest or all of them together as too much for him. Bless……. 
I’m a bit anxious as she’s been my company. Don’t do too good on my own at the moment and mum was always there to talk to if he had her and occasionally both. She sleeps in my bed too at the moment so just freaking out a bit.

The sheer irony of the restaurant closing down was they pretty much nothing but vegetarian/vegan dishes much to my friends dismay as he so desperately loves steak lol x so I got what I wanted as did my friend but he had to choose a burger and then to add insult to injury they had no choice of desserts x
My food was braw and they paid so for me it was a freebie

The day after my 50th this week the zips on my trousers set off the metal detector at the airport and the lassie actually asked me if I had a metal hip!! I was like ‘eh I’m not that old’!! and then this morning I get a letter from the NHS for the over ‘50s!! I’ve been 50 for like 3 days x
I then go and see my friend who was 50 in February and she’s moaning about having arthritis, sore back, stiff hips…I left swiftly x
Enjoy the football tomorrow even if you’re just watching it on the tv xx

I can understand you being anxious and hopefully the time will pass quickly for you. I lived with Mum for the past 5 years since I lost my Husband and sometimes I forget whats happened and think Mum is in hospital but then remember otherwise. Its like nothing you could ever anticipate is it. Hope you manage some reasonable sleep at least.
