How are you doing today? You are so correct it is mum that makes the home and it’s just so odd cause cause it’s just a house where I live just now but I found a list mum had written of things she wanted to do and buy for the house so I’m trying to honour her wishes whilst putting my own personality in to it.
I hope you are having a positive day and if you find yourself a bit down always here for you and everyone else who’s missing their loved ones.
Hope you are doing well (under the circumstances of course), Thanks for asking how I am. I just feel like I’ve no foundations really and don’t know who I am now. I like your idea of honouring your Mum’s plans for the house yet including a bit of yourself. That’s a really nice gesture.
Yes I understand that feeling all too well. Everything and everyone I thought I knew and would be part of my life has gone and I too just don’t know who I am anymore. I had a separate life from my mum as did she but since she’s gone some of the friends have all but disappeared and as I have no one now to come home and tell everything to I just don’t see the point.
I don’t know about you but I feel and look like any sparkle I had in me died with her.
As depressing as that all sounds I’m not having a bad day but just always bubbling under the surface.

The weather up here is freezing and took me over 15 mins to de-ice the car yesterday but personally this week has had it’s ups and downs and today is an up day so will take it as a win.

Up and down days still for me. Been throwing myself into job hunting today . Weekdays are really frustrating as there is still much to sort out financially and I’m going round in circles through no fault of my own.
Some good news is that I’m finally soon going to get one on one counselling support with Cruse . My emails I sent when I registered had gone missing in their spam and I’ve been moved up the list which is good . I phoned them yesterday and the guy on the phone said he would chase it up and he did just that.
Out tomorrow to another show - English National Opera’s La Boheme . If it wasn’t for theatre and cinema I think I would have had a breakdown by now . Live performance really lifts my spirits even if just for a few hours.

Had a bit of a tearful episode today in a phone consultation so a bit fragile, but it’s almost the end of the day now. Thanks for asking. Could do with some TLC and a huge bar of chocolate I think!

The theatre is very near Trafalgar Square and it was where my love for theatre began. I 'm back there again for The Cunning Little Vixen next weekend. For those few hours I can escape the sadness and my anxiety disappears. It gives me something to look forward to.

I thought it looked familiar as think I’ve been there as often (or used to anyway before covid) go to London to go to theatre. I thought I was pretty well versed on Westend plays but again I’ve never heard of this one. I’ll have to look it up x

Hi Suzanne. Another up and down day really for me. It was 8 weeks ago my Mums funeral . Really been thinking about how things were ( or so we thought). Had my best mate ring me which he does regularly. Had a nice long chat to a neighbour. Had to phone Samaritans for someone to speak to this afternoon which helped. Did some more job hunting.
