Dear Helen,
I come from Europe, but I live in USA. Itās evening here and Iām still up, because I have a day off tomorrow and going to bed means to get closer to waking up full of anxiety. Iāve got a good day today. I figured out how to decrease my house insurance bill, after work I drove to the lake that me and my most beloved husband used to go to and I sat on our bench where he had been sitting with me the last time. Because today didnāt bring anything negative and all the people that I met were nice to me, I was able not to cry, I was even smiling while thinking of him, talking to him how many things Iāve accomplished today and on the top of that, I started thinking about going back to Denmark where we got married to spend some time there and bring back some kind of happiness one dayā¦ I so wish to do it and hopefully Iāll be able toā¦

That sounds like a very good idea. Making plans and having something to look forward too.
Sitting outside in nature gives me peace. My husband and I visited a bluebell wood often, we loved it there. Itās where we will both be scattered when itās my time. I went on my own recently and sat in a patch of bluebells, the feeling of calm was amazing.
I hope you have more good days and start making those plans to visit the places that you both loved x

I only really started watching the news again and looking at the BBC app since the Iran War started. After my partner died in September last year.I just lost all interest in life, not like the old me. I really couldnāt have cared less if the Russians and Chinese had invaded. I turn Trump off as well.

I know what you mean, I care so little for what happens around me, when you see politicians arguing, or people getting very passionately involved in debates etc. I just think āwho cares, my Norman is more important than any of thisā.
