Hahaha I used to wake Andrew up by touching his face, it used to annoy him but I used to do it in my sleep. I can hear him now "get your finger out of my eye"

I also miss sending him pictures of food that I made for tea. So I’ll send it to you guys instead

Andrew would be excited to eat the crackling, if I managed to save him some x

I used to just hold his nostrils untill he gasped for breath that usually worked. Haha that was joke by the way :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yes it’s silly what we miss. Every time I go into the shower the shower head is always were I left it. Andrew would usually leave it dangling. I even miss putting the empty loo roles in the bin because “blokes” have poor eyesite and can’t replace loo rolls or put anything back in the fridge or cupboards. Xx

That ham looks delicious!!! I too miss the things I would do for him. I was telling a friend that I don’t do laundry as often as he used to sweat alot. His xlarge sizes took up alot of room in the washing machine :joy: but I miss doing it
For those that have posted about the things our loved ones did that could be a bit annoying…we loved ALL the sides of the person.
Keep sharing - it helps me and you never know if it helps someone else who hasn’t shared yet or is taking a break

I do the same as you. I follow my daily routine, i have hone back to work but my head isnt in the job. I work with yeat 11 in a school so i felt i needed to be there to support them through their exams, today the students had their final fun day. I got some lovely gifts from them and their parents. I am smiling and thanking them. Inside my stomach is churning. All of the gifts in the world isnt going to bring Darren back. Darren also passed away in February after fighting for a week from a freak accident. I dont know what to do

Yes much less laundry. Andrew was a welder and was filthy when he got home (I loved kissing and smelling his neck after work, so manly)
I used to do the laundry I loved making his clothes smell nice and fresh, his work mates always commented that his clothes smelt good

Oh @littlewitch

Your doing so well and being very brave going back to support your students :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Little by little you’ll get there. You’ll be having the summer holidays soon, so you’ll have a nice break. Xx

My husband snored a lot.
It was either the first or second night and I heard a snore.

So he’s still causing you a nuisance from the other side, bless him. But it probably felt more of a comfort.

I’m sure Andrew holds my hand at night sometimes. I can feel my fingers moving as if someone is touching them. :two_hearts:

Oh dear, I’m crying again.

Thinking of his snoring.

You see, he died while driving very, very slowly.

I thought he had blacked out, then I thought it was a stroke and then he gave a snort, just like he did when he fell asleep in front of the tv.

That is when I think he died.

Let it all out, release the pressure :purple_heart::purple_heart:
Bless you and bless your husband for keeping you safe as even though he was leaving you, he managed to protect his darling. What a wonderful strong man :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: xx

Good morning @RoseGarden

How are you feeling today? It looks like it’s going to be a nice day. I’ve decided to drag my arse out to take my niece and nephew out for a couple of hours this morning. At least it’ll only be a half day of self pity (when I get home later) xx

Good morning Katy,

I am taking things easier to help me recover physically. So a bit of housework, watching tv and hopefully cuddles from the :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiley_cat:

My neighbour will probably drop of a couple of bits of shopping this morning.

So an exciting day :laughing::laughing:

Emotionally, my brain seems to have switched off. At first it felt very weird but it is good to not have so many negative emotions and thoughts!

I hope you have a good time with your nephew and niece!

The sun has disappeared here.

Thank you so much for messaging me

Love and hugs,

Rose :rose: xx
