That’s just hit home. Sue got yold that for two vists and told to try gaviscon. Before she got a camera down her throat and they found the tumour. More test later the cancer had spread.

Yes Mark felt like they were trying to get rid of him and felt like leeds didn’t want him either.
He was so angry by this point, it was like I was saying to my counsellor today who says to someone "sorry but its the NHS fault but you were lost in the system ". It was like he was nothing.
To me he was my everything, my life and my best friend xxx

I am so sorry you had a rotten experience with the NHS.
it is 7 months today since my beloved husband Roger passed away. The last two months of his life were manic - tests, scans, blood transfusions , and finally one round of chemotherapy which I believe was too much for his poor body to withstand . He survived cancer twice and I am devastated that that awful cancer came back and he didn’t survive. In three days he went from diagnosis, to chemotherapy to passing away. No time to say everything I wanted to say other than to hold him and tell him how much I loved him and how he was greatly loved. The worst day of my life.

Yes I do understand, we found out 22nd October that he had cancer, we had just celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary. 13th November we were told there was nothing they could do and 23rd November he passed away in a hospice with me holding his hand and our kids were there aswell

It’s been a devastating terrible time for us all. I’ve been pushing myself forward trying. I’m tired. We have I do believe that our system has become one of the worst. The totally flippant and casual attitude that people are being treated to is absolutely unbelievable!!! You couldn’t make it up. Worse still it’s going to keep on happening. X

We’ll try and have a small snack or something. At least it’ll be a bit of something. You need it. X

Thank you, Mark never had a chance with chemo, by the time he was taken into hospital, two weeks later we were told there was nothing they could do and he was too weak for chemo and it had spread to his lungs.
If they had done the operation when they were supposed to they might have found it sooner.

I had some small sausage rolls .so i have eaten something. How are you doing .i am so so. Xxxx

Had a good session this afternoon. We had a good
Laugh. She has helped getting through this .as we know it is dam hard .the empty house that does not help.

As i said this road we are on horrible road. Xx

@Diggerdave
It is a terrible road we’re on. I’ve been quite up and down love. Glad you’ve had a bit of something. It helps. An empty house. Yes it’s crap. So I’m gonna have a large brandy and put my feet up. Xx
