It’s a good idea not to rush into moving, let things settle and see how you feel.

It’s a shame your children don’t keep in touch much, I know they may have busy lives, but a text would be nice.
I have four children, my eldest daughter lives in Liverpool, I don’t see her much, but she keeps in touch. My eldest son lives in Buckinghamshire, he keeps in touch, he has a lovely eight year old, she FaceTimed me last night.
The two youngest are still living with me, which is a godsend, they keep me busy,
It’s funny how history repeats itself, from the age of twenty eight, I was a single parent, I had three jobs, it was hard work.
Now, in effect I am a single parent again, albeit a widow, I look after my two at home, in return, they look out for me.
I hope you enjoy the garden, I live in Lincolnshire, it’s lovely here.

I live in north Lincolnshire, I have given up texting them, just wait now for them to text me. They used to do it when Mark was here but he never put up with it would always tell them off.
Its nice to sit in the peace and quiet and just listen to the sounds.
Had a wobble this morning but at the moment I’m ok. I was thinking of getting someone in to do the garden and tidy it up a bit xxx

Thank you, I know you are right, its just so bloody hard as I’m just convinced he is not at peace. I hate weekends as it was out time as we both worked. Its lovely here so trying to sort some plants in his garden.It will always be his garden.

I think we all hate weekends and wherever I might be it doesn’t take away those empty feelings but I do try. We all try in our way but it’s not easy at all. Enjoy doing your garden cause I’m sure he’ll be watching…
I’m having a small cheeky V & T with ice n slice at this moment in my sons garden whilst looking after my granddaughter whilst mum n dad away for mums 40th.
I think John will be watching n saying ‘you go girl’ and have one for me.
We loved our sunny afternoons in either his or my garden having a Pimm’s or Prosecco or Voddy n of course the nibbles…no wonder I put weight on but I’d give anything to do that again even just once…Miss him like crazy…

Its been up and down at the moment I’m ok, just watching tv, got fed up of sitting in the garden and no point going out just for going out.

Yes not a bad day ,i went out before .i got a new spade and a new hoe, when ut cools down i will remove the weeds of the patio and drive way. Very slowly xx

You really shouldn’t feel guilty.
Just think what your darling would want you to be like. He’ll want you to try and get on as best you can.
The guilt will fade in time but it doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten or don’t love them, it just means we have learned to live without them, as daunting as that sounds.x

Morning. It’s a lovely morning and for the first time in 10 weeks I have woken up with a positive feeling. It might not last but I’ll take it for today.
When we feel like this we want to do things don’t we.?
1st on my list today is mow the lawn n water the garden, it needs it.
2nd. Clean this house and get it valued later this week and maybe look to move in the future.
I feel a complete fresh start needed…
3rd. Pick up my granddaughter from school n sort all her animals.
Not felt like this for ages…
