Dear Matt, i can so understand how your biblical faith has lapsed.If God is so loving and caring why does he always take the most loving, kindest most caring people from us?I have never found the real answer to that, maybe one day i will.the only certainty in life the old sying goes is taxes and death.One things for sure no one gets off earth alive.I often read books to try and help find “my way” and look for answers, some offer possibilities but no “real” answers.I do like to think there is a sort of heaven/paradise beyond this world.I did read in one book that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, if that makes any sense?What i do know is this is an awful path we all find ourselves on but all we can do is our best to try and navigate along this path.throw in a rollercoster ride too and that seems how this journey is for us.we have to try and be patient with ourselves as grief has no time limit attatched to it.We have to try and take things step by step, moment by moment.i so hope you are getting through this long weekend ok, i know weekends are difficult for so many of us on her, long weekends even more so.Take care.

Thank you.its been another hard day.I have been thinking of happy memories of Easter past with my dear wife and her sister and her husband and my wifes mum and dad.we would have all got together for a meal at one of our houses.such happy memories but i cried alot remembering what was but can never be again.Its an awful path we all find ourselves on.i hope you are ok and managing the weekend ok?i know weekends for many of us are hard, long weekends especially.These “special” type weekends are hard too.

Thank you for what you said about the copies fading. It makes perfect sense. I was spared the trauma of seeing my husband die suddenly and the CPR etc but I recall over and over the call telling me he’d died. Seem to be punishing myself but you’re right, the more times I replay it in my mind the more it seems to be fading. So thank you xxx

Thank you so so much for taking the time and looking into it I really need to try do something I am just really struggling and it don’t help that I am been getting weaned off anti depression tablets to go onto another and I have to take other tablets for anxiety I am trying my absolute best please take care and thank you once again

Yes @Johnr this grief road we travel is so very hard but you have to focus on getting through it. There are so many people that care and yes I know the one person that you want is no longer travelling life’s path with you but they are still part of your journey and will always be in your heart.
These long holiday weekends are so very hard on us all. Remember one step at a time.

Morning Everyone The sun is trying to come out from behind the clouds. I have to go and get a few bits of food this morning. @Johnr The shops are open you just need to check their opening hours. I am taking my dog to my local county park this . It’s got a dog friendly cafe there, so might call in for a coffee. Hope you all have the best day you can .
