Losing a baby

I’m sat up on my own. It’s been 15 years since I lost my baby. I had counselling afterwards but it never goes away and tonight, I am finding it extremely hard and very emotional.

I’m so sorry to hear about your baby, @Caroline51 - that is devastating.

You are not alone. We sadly have many members who have lost their baby. @Sara66 posted this thread recently if you’d like to take a look - maybe you can support each other.

My baby boy

I lost my first son 38 years ago this year to cot death as it was called then. He was my 2nd child, he died christmas morning. I still wonder what he would have become in life, where is he now? Does he miss us as we miss him?. Its hard to explain, but my arms still ache to hold him, i went on to have another 2 sons and i look at them and have so many “i wonder’s”?
