So so similar to my case. I emohatise with you. I don’t know how you cope. It breaks my heart. It feels like death. It feels worse than death…I am so so sorry. Bad things happen to good people. Where are you based? Which hospital was it?
Emphasise not emolise!!!
You have to continue! It feels like someone rips your heart out, leaving a pain you can’t describe.
Im based in north West London, northwick park hospital.
Im so sorry for your loss too. Another very sad traumatic story.
I only found this forum today, hopefully sharing helps is all in some way, no matter how small.
Please stay safe…eat n sleep. I know it is a big ask …God only knows how we both feel. 30 years…we were married…flowers arrived for our anniversary…which was 4 days after her death…they were used for her funeral instead. Xxx
Oh the flowers, thats heartbreaking!
Stay safe too.
I am shocked at reading this but shouldnt be as it happens so often. The care you received is beyond bad. I am so sorry you experienced this . It seems we are truelly broken as a country
the stories you hear sound more like the third world standards than a wealthy economicly good nation. The only positive is you survived this.
TQ Belinda. I should be the one who is dead…I drink twice a week…(less than 12 units) but have never smoked. My wife has never smoked nor ever drank. She eats more than 10 types of fruit and vegetables a day. I only eat half of that. She goes for long walks with me and also goes jogging. They have destroyed 3 lives and more. We may have pot holes and a crumbling NHS but by gum we are top in empathy.
Do you know it is far cheaper to provide nursing home care than to use nhs hospitals as a nursing home. I see it a bit like using taxis to take children to school when it is cheaper to use a school bus.
