Not very well, I still can’t process he’s gone. How are you doing? Very early days for you. My heart goes out to you and your family

I am sorry I am just getting back to you. People called. Do you want to vent to me. Would that help?

I don’t say my, I say we and our. Our house. We wanted to… We believe.

Hi Brummy
Thank you for your kind reply. It is so difficult being in the house without Roger. Not that he chattered a lot but his presence was always comforting. He was my absolute rock and I felt safe and loved. The grief is raw and unbearable

It’s really difficult when you lose someone you’ve loved for many years.

I’ve been with Jackie since 1965. We got engaged in 66 and married in Sep 67. Would have celebrated 58 years this coming Sep.

Noticed you’re from Belfast. My band played at the Limelight in Jan 2016. My first and only visit to Belfast. Seems a nice city.

Anyway take care and have a laugh at us playing in Belfast.

Not sure about nice, but I loved my wife and we stayed together through good and bad times.

What age are you?

Turned 79 a couple of weeks after Jackie had passed in March.

Without asking a lady her age, I assume you are a lot younger.

So young, both of you. You need to look after yourself now. Your partner would want that as Jackie would want me to.
