Yes Deb my husband was 68 in 2011 when he died very suddenly.My son though grieving himself was my rock.Actually the photo of Mark was one of my favourites as a young man.By the time he died last year he had been through alot including COPD cancer.He was my life after his dad died so loving and supportive .His death did come suddenly however he was still only 51.We thought he was going in hosp for help with his COPD 9 days later he passed! I do have alot of pics around and I have been told maybe doing so wont help my grief.Well if you still have your loved ones around you dont want so many pics but in my loss I ŕeally do.Our only child and my hubby gone.My love and thoughts to you Deb on the loss of your hubby.Take care my love xxx

Thanks Deb it was actually a family member that said that.Oh yes I will carry on putting them up.In fact my new phone case has my sons pic on it Ha.his dad may get jealous but I doubt it.If he was here when Mark passed I dont know how he would have coped.They were bessie mates Xxxx

I did get an apology I must say but it did sit with me a while.To be honest Deb you are probably the same got to bite your lip sometimes the things people come out with.Try these days not to bring my loss up when out and about but not easy.I appreciate people dont know how to react or what to say.At times like that best to say nothing .Take care good night god bless xx x

My beautiful son died of secondary cancer of the bone in July 2023. He was 47 years old. These were taken when he was about 30 . This bloody cancer , they need more research into cancer of the harder to treat cancers and metastasis

Looking at these beautiful photos, my heart breaks for you all, including my mum, now negotiating life without her best friend. I always said since losing Dad, it’s worse for her as she doesn’t know an adult life without him. Love to all x
