Thank you, I got that dress in a posh boutique in Aberdeen, I’m not keen on the skullcap but they were popular at that time xxx

I agree, definitely the cat that got the cream. What lovely photos everyone. How nice it is to remember those times. How nice not to be complaining about lack of sleep or bad days but something positive abd uplifting.

They were very popular.
My aunt wore one when she got married and has her bridesmaids my sister and I did too!
That was why I asked what year it was because I suspected it was not Disimilar to when my aunt got married. :joy:
If I had the energy, I’d get out of bed and go and take a picture of me as a bridesmaid with a little skull cap on. Maybe I’ll share it tomorrow.

So what about first kisses??
Any stories :kissing_heart:

Our first date was walking along the riverside. There was a musical festival on in the park. We walked along the river and sat on a bench and talked and talked and before we got up to go back to listen to some music, he said I have something to ask you. And he said ‘may I give you a kiss.’
And I said you’re pushing your luck. Do you think I kiss everybody on a first date and he said no but it was worth a try so we had a kiss just a peck really.
Our second date was supposed to be the following weekend, but he declared on the Wednesday that he couldn’t wait to see me. I lived quite close to the pub. A short walk through the graveyard. It was summertime and daylight. We met for a drink and I allowed him to walk me home That church yard was the side of our first snog. :joy::joy::joy::face_with_hand_over_mouth::face_with_peeking_eye:
