This isnt my cup of tea at all. My husband and i arranged for our bodies to donated to science. I saw him the afternoon he died 6 weeks ago, he looked so peaceful. The next day he went off the medical school. We didnt have a funeral or anything, it was what we wanted. The only family we have here is our son .
Same here. My husband wanted a simple cremation and his ashes scattered. He died in hospital. I arranged for a non-attended cremation and the funeral director informed me after it had been done. They told me the rose bed he was scattered on and I visited yesterday. That was it. I have told my son that I would be happy with the same arrangement.
I lost my first husband 20 years ago. Unfortunately I had to identify his body which was traumatic. I am glad that I didn’t have to see my second husband after he had died.
