Well done on figuring out the pressure washer.
I’m gradually getting used to going ‘Roger’ jobs

Thinking of you tomorrow. You’ll be fine, cry if you want, its ok
I’ve been to 3 now, I cried bit at all of them

Big hugs :people_hugging:

Salad here, too, with baby potatoes and some Tesco chicken slices.

I only have salad on the couple of days following a supermarket delivery as there is no way you can get it to stay fresh for long.

I tend to have it most days in the summer, and it saves doing the dreaded cooking!

Kathy snap! I got piri piri Chicken from Lidl & only just realised now that’s why it was so spicy :joy: normally they tone things down.

Lucy - it’s just a document to sign to transfer pensions from drew to my pension account. Should be easy. I did pick up a treat - cinnamon bun but wasn’t as nice as I thought.

Doing some life admin then shower and back to my book.

Correction. Salad with corned beef. Cleo decided it was time she investigated the kitchen counter. I found her with her nose buried in the chicken salad. Thankfully I had lettuce and tomatoes left to make another one. Will have to watch her in future.

Lesson. Never leave food unattended with cats around.

True, but as she’s a feral, she’s always been nervous of going near human things; she won’t sit on chairs or beds, but likes to hide under things. Looks like confidence over the new kittens has brought out her cheeky side!

I too love a chip butty.

My dinner was a disaster

I did chicken thighs in a honey soy sauce and ginger sauce.
It was an air fryer recipe I followed it to the letter. It said 20 - 25 minutes I gave it 20.
Result burnt chicken!

I tried a couple of the least burnt, not good.

A chip butty sounds a good option

I have found I don’t believe air fryer timings. It’s trial and error.
Followed timings and been either raw or burnt.

I’m learning. I know it’s happened before.
My brain is really bad at the moment, just can’t think straight,
Even simple things are beyond me.

I’ve got to do less crying and more thinking

Linda, and everyone else - I just don’t get chip butties. But I am sure you wouldn’t get things Americans like …like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Yum

I was just thinking my counsellor asked me. She asked if I dream about Drew. I don’t normally do I “see signs” . Both make me sad and I hope I do some day. Does anyone else

It’s so nice to come on this group and find so many reassurances and good wishes. It just makes you feel you are not alone in the hard path we are all on. Take care everyone

Fred is in my dreams most nights but only in the background and they’re not very significant. I have had a few dreams that he hadn’t died and it had all been a mistake xxx

Big hugs to all that are struggling.
I have been shopping today. My youngest son is away at the eldest son’s for the weekend. They are going to the Army/Navy rugby at Twickenham. So an early shopping day. I bought a new spin mop, rubber broom and had some new cleaning products delivered from Purdy and Figg. Much to the amusement of my son Thomas. He said “I hardly call that treating yourself.” We made a really nice salad, chopped apple and celery with nuts. Feta cheese and a mustard seed cheese. Lots of lettuce and mixed tomatoes. All with a honey and mustard dressing. It was lovely to sit and eat with company

No, I hardly ever dream about John. I don’t really believe in signs or an afterlife. On the other hand, Cleo, Mouse and Cobweb turned up when I was at one of my loneliest and most desperate points. He loved cats too. So who knows?

Hot chips, oozing melting butter, what’s not to love! If it’s any consolation, my best friend (from Vermont) thinks it’s nuts as well.
