Chat and support

Hi Jo
Sorry you are feeling so low.
It is horrible trying to stay busy when all you want is to crash out but you can’t relax
I don’t know why but I am also very low.
Going over and over things.Remembering
things I had long forgotten.
Just all weepy just bursting out into tears
Nights are bad and long and dark.
I dread the next day as it will be more of the same.Life on repeat.
I know you are down and I am probably making
You worse. Along with every body else.
I am thinking of you though.
We some how need to to get through this god knows how.
Love Doreen xx

Yes but we need to realise we won’t always feel this way. I follow some posts on Instagram about grieving. I find it helpful because it’s like this group…helps me to cope.

I don’t want to say gives me hope because it feels like I want to move on without my husband as I certainly don’t. But helps me to read things from people with more time past than me.

Sandra is it because of your replacement? Sorry but I can’t remember if you had a hip or knee. Or maybe I am making that up. Great you have found a way to cope for now.

No. Neither. I need both hip and knee replacement especially knee. My weight says they won’t even consider it so it is just the arthritis causing me problems. Losing weight but it is slow going. Also doing physio but that is slow as well,

Good evening all, I am sorry so many of our group are feeling down, I have two free hands here if anyone wants to hold on. I went for lunch with our daughter and Grandaughter which really gave me a boost. It is turning very cold now hundreds of geese and flown in ready to head south that is a sure sign winter is on the way, the noise they make is incredible we hear them before we see them. Sending a hug to anyone who needs one :people_hugging:

Oh Sandra sorry to hear you need both ops. Good luck on the weight loss to have the surgeries. I know it isn’t easy.

Hands to everyone who needs it today. I am doing alright. Don’t want to jinx it but feeling better.

Jane2 - glad you had lunch today, sounds lovely.

I might be seeing one of my nephews tomorrow.

Hugs to all and to those struggling, hang in there. There are a few of us here to help you out of the swamp!!

We get some flying over, they tend to do a pit stop at the local reserve to fatten up, how they don’t collide is amazing.

I live close to the reserve where they stop off here, I sit in my lounge and watch them flying by. It amazes me how they know where to go.

We get starling murmurations just up the road.

Jo I don’t think you should avoid posting here if you feel down. Surely that’s the point that we can support each other no matter what. Hope you feel a bit brighter soon

All we get are crows, pigeons and seagulls.

I get white gulls. Small ones that fly in formation or singly. Love watching them.
Sorry so many are down. I can be on swamp duty tonight I’ve had a reasonable day. Saw younger son and had a nice chat and went for coffee with friend this afternoon.
I will settle by the swamp in a garden chair with a flask of coffee for anyone who needs support.
