Dear liz
Thank you so much.
I know every one cares but I know every one
else has the same loss.
I don’t want it to set every body off in their own grief.
However I do realise now if I suddenly dip out
You lot all worry it.
I just can’t explain why though this grief has reared its ugly head so high.
I have been rendered so low unbelievably low.
Thank god for you all.
Lots of love to all.

Dear Doreen
Yes we are all suffering our own losses. But being on here and chatting together makes us realise we are not alone.
As much as we can we will all try to help each other through.
We all have big lows and need pulling out of the swamp now and again
But we will all help each other wherever we can.
I’m ok today. But who knows what tomorrow brings.
Here for you anytime and I will be thinking of you tonight
Love and hugs

I never fell into that trap. I am an unhappy drunk so alcohol really didn’t help my grief but made it worse.
My neighbour went down the drink line and had a problem for a while as she would start early in the day.
The recycling guys tend to sneer at my 1 wine bottle every couple of weeks so the recycling container for glass doesn’t get a lot of use.
I don’t doubt at some point you will forget the hangover and go down that route again. We are all human and temptation is always there.
Xx
Sandra
Always hope Liz,still some brandy left.xx
Don’t forget to put your clocks back tonight, everyone. @Ron11 will be thinking of you tomorrow.
Never been tempted to drink during the day, usually a glass or two of wine with dinner,
It was unusual last night as a pal was here for dinner and staying overnight,I was led astray.xx
Thank you Kathy it’s much appreciated.
It is so easy when you have guests. I only normally have 1 small glass of wine a night. This increases dramatically the few times I have company.
In my early IT days it was truly work hard and play hard and drank a lot. Stopped when my husband started taking warfarin and couldn’t drink. No fun drinking when he couldn’t so I virtually stopped as well.
I’ve been to my griends today for lunch. And wine
So no brandy tonight.
Just coke
