It was very emotional. 
My son used to sing and play guitar in a band. His nearly 9 year old daughter is learning to play piano, so is also musical. His 3 year old son is a bit young. My daughter and grandchildren arenāt musical at all.

These days I hate learning, if that the right word, new technology. My new boiler with hive system got me in a pickle but hopefully after reading the booklet I think Iāve set it right now

Dawn of another day.
Itās a cold start with temp down to 9, but itās at least dry for the moment. I may try and cut the grass, although one of my granddaughters is visiting this afternoon, so weāll see.

Itās dark and wet here this morning but not cold.
I overslept, well not in the old sense of the word like for school or work 
I was awake until 15:30, well that was the last time I looked at my watch that I recall. Then before I knew it, it was 07:10 so I shot out of bed jumped in the shower. I am booked in the gym this morning, I leave here at 08:30 so Iām not really late, then when I get back here do a quick turnaround to go meet a very good friend.
John I like that quote itās true. I would leave the grass we only did it last week and it will be wet still. Iām pleased you will have company today make the most of family time itās precious

I decided to leave the grass as Iām semi poshed up for my granddaughter. Apparently sheās bringing her boyfriend who Iāve never met, so had better be on my best behaviour. Anyway, I can leave it until your next visit

Last July when I went for the weekend to visit my granddaughter at uni I get to meet her partner for the first time . It was a special time .

My friend bailed on me which I must admit upset me than I realised I did actually cry. Trouble is like most of us I really look forward to things that get me out of here and yes like @Johnr said I could still go out to eat but itās not the same on your own and I donāt fancy it now.
So Iāll start on my list that I save for days like this.
That two things now that have been cancelled today and tomorrow was meant to be a sports event at my gym which is now postponed.
Hopefully I will get out Sunday as long as my SiL doesnāt cancel.

Temperature has really dropped here. Itās currently down to 8 and is apparently going to be down to 4 overnight. Putting heating on now for a while.
My granddaughter brought her little dog with her as well as her boyfriend, who was a very nice young man.
While I was showing her one of Jackieās gold bracelets, the dog grabbed the bag it was in and ran out into the garden Luckily he dropped it just outside the back door.
Anyway off to bed which will hopefully warm up
