Morning all. Hope you got some sleep. I managed to sleep until 7 so that was amazing for me.

Good Morning John and Everyone.

So pleased your house has sold John and now comes the best bit of finding your new home nearer Jackie. Is it going to be a bungalow or are you still going to do stairs.?
It’s a beautiful morning here so coffee n then a walk into the village and maybe up to the lake.
Me n John would have probably gone to Lytham or St Anne’s today but I’ve yet to venture there since he passed…
Have a great day and happy house hunting..

Morning Mitzi, I was open to both house or bungalow but after my fall downstairs a few weeks ago and compounding it yesterday with a trip, my son is ‘insistent’ that I should get a bungalow. He’s right of course, pointing out my age to me yesterday, several times.

A dear friend here, has been helping me find bungalows online. Despite her not knowing South Wales, she has done well, so I have arranged some viewings for next week.

Enjoy your coffee and walk

@Johnr
If I was ever to move it would be a bungalow but they are very few n far between in my neck of the woods which just goes to show how us lot of a certain age aren’t really catered for even with new builds.
A nice little two bedroomed with garage n gardens would suit me but if any do come up they are a ridiculous price..

i am so sorry for your loss.Christmas is going to be such a difficult time for many of us, every day is bad enough but christmas will be particulaly hard.i miss everything about my dear wife her love, care kindness and gentleness, our general chats together about anything and everything, we did everything together. The suddeness and unexpectedness my dear wife was taken from me has broken my heart, its as though part of me went with her when she passed, everything has no meaning and purpose now.Just trying to cope the best we can.people just dont understand how we feel unless they have trodden this path as we are doing. We put on our “mask” to say and look ok but inside we are torn apart with grief and heartbreak.I really hope that among all the jollities and celebrations of this christmas people will spare a thought for all who grieve their lost loved ones and find it difficult to”Celebrate” this christmas.Take care.

Good morning all.

I’ve selected 5 bungalows in Wales to view next week. They’re all relatively new or been renovated so hopefully one will do for my remaining years.

Now to restart the packing I did in the early months after Jackie passed.

Anyway have as good a day as you can

Good Morning.

Wow 5 bungalows….I don’t think there’s that many in our village.
It’s going to be so exciting looking at them and hopefully one will just be ‘the one’ when you walk through the door..:house:

They’re not all in the same location Mitzi. I decided to expand the area a little bit.

I really wanted to be near the church where Jackie’s ashes are, however like your village there’s not a lot of available bungalows.
The location of these places are about 6 miles away, so it means a car journey rather than walk to the churchyard, but not a problem.
Life has to go on and Jackie would want me to he comfortable.

Why do the tears start for no real reason.
I’m going out tomorrow for a meal with a male friend of many years, 58 years to be honest.
I’ve been looking at restaurants and rang to book which is nothing but had me in bloody tears because my John sorted absolutely everything for me in our short time together.
Just made me realise, yet again, how much I miss him and how irreplaceable he is forever.
